Description:

Offers programs and services to meet the needs of runaway, homeless and other troubled youth and their families by providing services to empower youth, help them resolve personal and family problems. Provides shelter, counseling, educational and other services to help young people resolve their problems and strengthen family relationships. The Runaway and Teen Crisis program provides a safe and legal alternative for runaway and homeless youth, as well as offering a neutral space where problem-solving can take place for both the youth and the family. Offers 24-hour phone counseling and referral, temporary shelter and counseling to youth in crisis ages 11-17.  The Transitional and Supportive Housing program is for older homeless youth ages 16 through 21 years old who require long-term transitional housing after a stay in the emergency shelter. The Family Support and Empowerment program provides a variety of group experiences that focus on teens, parents/parent figures of teens to become their best self.
