Description:

Provides information and assistance regarding services for adults with disabilities ages 18-59 in Milwaukee County. DRC staff members assist individuals to plan for long-term and short-term needs, access community services and resources and learn about benefits that may be available. In addition to providing information and resources, the DRC provides Options Counseling about publicly funded long-term care options; assistance applying for Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security; and transition services for young people moving from children's services into the adult services system.
