Title: Divorce Education/ mandatory parenting for couples going through divorce
Location: Jewish Family Services, 1300 N. Jackson Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202
Description: Personalized classes for individuals or couples, which are conducted in a private setting, enable the therapist and individual or couple to focus on their unique needs and concerns. Topics include 1) skills for co-parenting with an ex-spouse, 2) strategies for negotiating differences, 3) the importance of mediation as an alternative to dispute resolution, 4) minimizing the impact divorce has on children, and 5) methods to help children manage the transition between households. 4 hours total, scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time
