Provides resources and tools to assist  in creating a youth suicide project. This toolkit assumes its audience to be a community-wide collaborative of agencies and individuals working together to prevent suicide in their community.  However, given the youth focus of this prevention project the school system is given special attention.

Statewide Resources
A listing of resources by county including Departments of Health and Human Services, other Wisconsin MHA's, crisis lines, Aging and Disability Resource Centers, and Wisconsin NAMI chapters.
 
A support group is a safe place where people gather to share their feelings and concerns with one another. MHA offers support groups for people who have suffered the loss of a loved one to suicide called Survivors Helping Survivors, as well as a support group for people with depression or anxiety.
 
A coalition of Wisconsin citizens working in unity for the purpose of eliminating the stigma of mental illness. The coalition includes people who are professionals in the mental health field, people whose lives have been touched by mental illness whether themselves or a family member, mental health advocates, and others who are simply willing to invest their time and talents toward making lives better.
