School and Community Based Suicide Prevention Program - About an hour presentation on the general suicide prevention basics and an overview of the 15 components of suicide prevention programs.
It is an overview of the Suicide Prevention Start-up Toolkit.
This presentation will give communities and schools a good understanding of what areas to address and where to start with suicide prevention initiatives in your area.
Gatekeeper Training - QPR - Question, Persuade, and Refer. About an hour presentation on risk factors, warning signs of suicide, how to refer someone that is at-risk, and restricting lethal means for anyone who wants to help save a life!
Screening Tool Training - SOS - Signs of Suicide.
About an hour presentation on how to identify plans for screening and educational tools within schools.
Preview the high school or middle school version of the SOS program and start to develop implementation procedures.
Mental Health Training - EBI - Eliminating Barriers Training.
A training for staff in a school setting based on four modules: eliminating barriers for learning; social-emotional development, mental health and learning; making help accessible to students and families; and strategies to promote a positive classroom climate.
