Wisconsin’s Suicide Prevention Plan is designed to increase the effectiveness of suicide prevention efforts by providing statewide data along with best practices, resources, and recommended action steps for those who share this same commitment.

Volunteer Needed: Peer Facilitator for in-person Suicide Loss Support Group (Good Hope Library)

We are seeking a volunteer peer facilitator of a support group based in Northwest Milwaukee at the Good Hope Library for adults/young adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. This facilitator should be a suicide loss survivor whose loss occurred two or more years ago. Requirements include basic familiarity with group dynamics and group process and ability to attend training as needed.

Volunteer Needed: Clinical Facilitator for In-Person Suicide Loss Support Group (South side of Milwaukee)

We are seeking a volunteer clinical facilitator for a new support group based in the South side of Milwaukee for adults/young adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. This facilitator should be a behavioral health provider (counselor/therapist/social worker), or in training to become a behavioral health provider, with their own personal experience of suicide loss concerns and basic familiarity with group dynamics and process.
