ACCESS
A tool to help determine eligibility for BadgerCare Plus, Wisconsin Medicaid and other programs.
 
Aging & Disability Resource Centers (ADRC's) 
ADRC's are available in most, but not all, Wisconsin counties.
 
County Human Service, Social Service and Community Program Agencies  
Provides help with aging and disability-related services, mental health services, alcohol and other drug abuse services, etc. Also handles applications for low income health care programs such as Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus.
 
Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW) 
DRW is the designated Protection and Advocacy agency for the state of Wisconsin.

Grassroots Empowerment Project
GEP, a state-wide non-profit organization that is controlled and directed by mental health consumers/survivors, exists to help people labeled with a mental illness exercise power in their lives.
 
Health Clinics for People With No Insurance. 
Community health centers, free clinics, rural health clinics and reduced rate dental clinics (does not provide information for mental health or substance abuse treatment).

Independent Living Centers (ILC)
ILC's are community-based, consumer directed, not-for-profit, nonresidential organizations serving persons of any age with any disabilities in all 72 counties. Unique in the world of human services, ILCs are governed and operated by board and staff composed of a majority of people with disabilities. All ILCs provide four core services, which include Information & Referral; Peer Support; Independent Living Skills Training; and Individual & Systems Advocacy
 
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wisconsin Chapters 
34 affiliates serving 40 counties throughout the state.

Prevent Suicide Wisconsin
A coalition of Wisconsin counties working to reduce the number of suicide in our state.

Handles the grievance process for state operated facilities and for the community.

Resource for families that include children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral, mental, and substance abuse disorders.

Wisconsin Public Health Information & Referral
Information and referral hotline for children and adolescents age birth to age 21 with special needs.
