Judy McGregor, MHA Board of Directors Chair, is no stranger to mental health services. She is a retired psychotherapist who worked at The Counseling Center of Milwaukee and also in private practice. Her experience includes family, individual and group therapy. Judy’s therapy skills were deepened by her experience of having been a therapy client herself. She has also been an enthusiastic volunteer at several non-profit organizations and a highly successful fundraiser for MHA.
Judy works well in groups, which is a good thing since her family clan is large, close-knit and growing. With three grown children, three grown step-children, and their many offspring, Judy stays connected through air travel, road trips, the phone, email and Skype. Other members of the Judy’s household include her husband, Dick, varying numbers of canaries, finches and 3 dogs. All of these creatures – human, furred, and feathered, – are blessed by Judy’s kindness, sense of humor, compassion and willingness to speak her mind.
MHA is honored to have Judy on our Board of Directors!
